Terms of Service

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share passwords across people — use the team member invite system to add users to your organization.

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Accounts must be for legitimate business use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that we determine are being used fraudulently or in violation of these terms.

The data you enter into NorthCourse belongs to you. We don't claim ownership over your job records, customer lists, site maps, or operational data.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of operating the platform for you. We do not use your data for any other purpose without your permission.

You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you input. Don't enter data you don't have the right to use.

You may use the platform to run your legitimate field service business.

You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal activities or to facilitate illegal activities
• Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with another organization's data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without written permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-export data in ways not supported by the platform
• Misrepresent your identity or organization when signing up

During the founding member period, billing terms will be communicated to you directly before any charges apply. You will not be charged without advance notice and your agreement to the specific terms at that time.

Once billing is active, payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription fees are billed in advance. If a payment fails, we'll notify you and provide a grace period before access is affected.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll make it right.

We aim to keep the platform available and running. We don't guarantee any specific uptime percentage during the founding period — we're a small team and we're being honest about that. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance and work to minimize unplanned outages.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If we ever need to shut down the platform entirely, we'll give you at least 60 days notice and a way to export your data.

The platform is provided as-is. We make no warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every use case.

To the extent permitted by law, NorthCourse Systems's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

When an account closes, we'll retain your data for 90 days in case you want to reactivate, then delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
